With Mothers Day coming up fast we had to share this perfect gift idea! A Birthday Calendar that can be used year after year and easily added to. We used a photo album with a flat spine to create the stand. Then we added some rings and a sheet for each month to write the birthdays and special occasions on. We have given a few of these away already and everyone loves it! We’ve got requests to make more. So be prepared to make one for your mom, your mother-in-law, your grandmas, your sisters, maybe even some friends, and one for yourself of course! 🙂 Or even better, grab your sisters or friends and make a few together!
Very simple right?! This is a great project for customizing however you like! The photo book can be left as is, or covered with paper, fabric, paint, duck tape (like we did), patterned Contac paper….anything! Then of course it can be embellished as much or as little as you want. Plus a homemade gift that is personal and useful can’t be beat!
