We hope you had a wonderful Christmas! Are you sad that it’s over, ready to move on, relieved maybe? I know I feel a little of each of those. Now that it’s over, it’s time to clear out the holiday decor.
Steffany takes hers down on Christmas day. Yes, you read that right, Christmas day. She sent me a picture at 6:30 on Christmas night of her family room completely un-decorated. That’s how her family has always done it. I’m a day after Christmas take downer. But as we were talking we realized we might both be weird.
Do most leave it up until the New Year? What’s your style?
No matter how you do it, I thought I’d share my Christmas Tree storage trick. We have two trees. The family tree, and my tree. Or the peppermint tree. I don’t want to decorate this tree every year, it’s just not as fun as the family tree with all the kids little ornaments. So a couple years ago I came up with this little trick.

I literally take the plastic wrap from the kitchen and tightly wrap the tree, ornaments and all. Then my husband carries it down to the storage room and it sits in the corner until next year! Best ever.
All Wrapped up! Besides getting dizzy walking around and around the tree, this is so easy!
