We did not forget that we have an awesome blog and just abandon you!
We did take a pretty long holiday break though. Can I still say
HAPPY NEW YEAR!?
Steff and I combined forces almost a year ago and named our creative insanity Find it, Make it, Love it. We love this little blog of ours, and are so happy to have you following along with us! 2013 was awesome-we have learned so much and totally realize we have so much to learn still. We are excited to dive into 2014 and have so many fun ideas to share!
But first, we want to post our top 10 projects from the last year. Hooray! These are the projects that had the most views, pins, shares and features in no particular order.
This re-purposed shampoo pump almost didn’t make it onto the blog, I debated whether it was share worthy for days. It worked so well though, so onto the blog it went. And rocked! It surprised us and got tons of views, pins and features! Woo hoo! This is the kind of idea that motivated me to start a craft blog in the first place. A good idea worth sharing.
Um, you need one of these in your purse or diaper bag. Steff and I use ours almost every day! So convenient, cheap and easy. We did a YouTube tutorial for this too!
Student desks turned craft table
I maybe should have the craft FAIL picture associated with this project here instead of the finished project. These desks gained so much attention from a craft FAIL feature. Who knew a DIY gone wrong would get so much love? Check it out if you haven’t seen the how these came to be. 🙂
Another surprise attention grabber. This is the post that first got us noticed by the lifestyle TV show Fresh Living. We were camping, the background is not ideal, the kids were dirty, but the bubbles were AWESOME! We love to laugh that of all the painting, and crafty projects we’ve done, it was bubbles that got us on TV! We’ll take it! So much fun! We are very proud to say we’ve been on Fresh Living a total of 4 times since the bubble post! See our other segments HERE, HERE, and HERE if you’d like. 🙂
These are the first curtains I convinced my husband to try, and he is now converted to curtainism. I still love, love them in my front room and they only cost $10!!
Did you see all these over the last year?
We are so thankful for you supporting our creative whims in 2013 and hope you will stick around for more with us in 2014! It’s gonna be awesome. 🙂
