Happy December everyone! It’s time to bust out the wrapping paper and advent calendars! Today also marks the arrival of our watch elf (aka Elf of the Shelf) Snickerdoodle. Oh Elf on the Shelf…a curse and a joy. Luckily our elf is not very mischievous. She doesn’t make messes, or cause any trouble. She simply finds a new place to hang out each day, and the kids are thrilled to find her every morning. Simplicity is the key to the Elf’s survival around here. 😉 December 1st also means it’s full throttle for Christmas festivities and shopping from here on out! So as long we’re talking about simplicity, we wanted to pop in and re-share one of our favorite ways to simplify the Holiday ‘to-do’ list. DIY Santa bags! Each kid has one for Santa to put gifts in on Christmas Eve. This means Santa doesn’t have to wrap quite so much! We LOVE this tradition and so do the kids. For more info and the full tutorial click HERE.
They are so, so easy to make and very inexpensive! You can also check out our Fresh Living TV segment showing Santa bags HERE.
We are so excited for all the Christmas fun that will fill the month and hope you have a wonderful first day of December!
