I freaking LOVE wreaths! I can’t help myself. They are just so easy and fun to make and seem like such a practical decoration! This Burlap Halloween Wreath cost me $0- that’s the beauty of being a craft hoarder I guess. I mean I bought the stuff sometime, and used it for whatever I bought it for, but then the leftovers get stashed and re-used! So it feels FREE! This is also a project I didn’t take pictures of step by step because I was making it up as I went a little. (THIS wreath by The Crafted Sparrow was my inspiration.) So here’s the breakdown of supplies…….with no pictures to back me up:
- Straw wreath form
- Burlap ribbon
- Printed Striped burlap ribbon
- Scrap booking letters and paper
- Hot glue gun
First, wrap the straw wreath form with the burlap ribbon.
Then make a bow out of printed burlap, use a piece of ribbon over the center. Hot glue the bow to the top of the wreath.Dive into your scrapbooking stash and spell the word BOO using sticker letters. Attach them to paper and hot glue to the bottom of the wreath. That’s it! This mostly serves as inspiration, make it whatever you want based on what you have, find, or buy! Do you love wreaths too?!
This one, of course, is best left indoors since it has paper on it, but I’m all about hanging wreaths all over the place. I totally love having a fresh new wreath for upcoming holidays, I’m sure this will not be the last wreath we ever share here. 😉
Here’s a few past wreaths to check out:)
