Hi everyone! We are so happy to be over at The Wood Connection today to share the simplest project you can imagine - a beautiful Herb garden box! It’s the time of year when we are all getting desperate for warmer weather. Getting some plants started for the garden or starting an herb garden is perfect for bringing some Spring in the house. This herb garden box is so simple and pretty and just what we need to help beat some of that winter gloom! *Be sure to read to the end of this post for info on our Wood Connection giveaway!!*
Here’s all you need from the Wood Connection:
- Shadow box
- Wood Stain
- Small wood rectangles
- 2 foam brushes
- White paint
Paint one coat of stain on all sides of the shadow box, inside and out. Let dry.
Then paint each of the wood rectangles white. Hot glue half of a wood skewer to the back of each rectangle for the stake. These will be the cute plant labels!
Use a good old Sharpie to label each plant.
We love the simplicity of the stained box with the green plants. Adding cute hand written labels is icing on the cake! Are we feeling Springy yet?!
Place a small plastic bowl under each plant to catch the drainage. All that’s left to do is give them sunshine, water and enjoy the pretty green!
Isn’t it easy? And pretty? We love it! We did a similar shadow box centerpiece a while back, check it out HERE. Also, we are so excited to be giving away a $25 gift certificate to the Wood Connection!
