Today we’ve got a beautiful white felt wreath to share with you! Yes, ANOTHER wreath from Steff and Mel! We have definitely made a fair amount of wreaths here on the blog. Can you have too many wreaths? Is that a thing? 😉
Naturally, we’ll link you to some of the favorites:

Every single wreath we make is super simple and super inexpensive. That’s how we roll for sure. This pretty white felt wreath is no different. Hang it with some beautiful seasonal ribbon and you’ve got a wreath to last all year!
Here’s what you need:
- One yard white felt, cut into 4 inch squares
- 12 inch foam wreath form
- Straight pins (1.25 inches long)
Use a rotary cutter and mat to cut your felt into 4 inch by 4 inch squares. You will need approximately 80.
Now that you have your squares, it’s just a matter of fold, pin, and repeat. Mindless crafting at its finest. 🙂
How to fold:
Take one felt square,
Fold in half, corner to corner.
Fold the bottom right corner across, bringing it to the top left.
Now make the same fold with the bottom left corner, but around the back; bringing it to the back right.
It should look like this from the top view.
How to pin:
Now you’ve mastered the fold, it’s time to assemble! Simply push a straight pin through the folded point and into the wreath form.
Now pin each subsequent felt piece just in front of the previous one, covering about 2/3 of the previous piece.
Continue around the entire front center of the wreath form. This is a row of 26 folded felt pieces.
Now we’ll fill it in! Pin one felt piece, turning it outward slightly in between each piece from the first row.
Pin a second felt piece, turning it inward in between as well.
Continue adding two pieces in between each first row piece until you’ve made your way around the entire wreath. Then you can fluff and twist any that need it until you’re happy with how it looks.
That’s it! Ready to hang! Keep in mind this wreath is lightweight and made of fabric so it may not be ideal for hanging outdoors unless you have a well covered porch. Hang it as is, or add a beautiful seasonal ribbon to hang it. You can’t go wrong with this one!
